CECILIA is a composer and performer from rural Quebec, Canada. She develops a surreal soundtrack
between dark fairy tale and poetic recital. Her songs are sensory encounters with melancholic infatuation
that unfold through sculptural breaths, powerful vocals, and tactile sound textures. CECILIA’s stage
performances play with emotional intimacy and theatrical excesses, reflecting the introspective yet
hallucinatory reckless spirit of her recordings. She released her first EP, Charity Whore, in 2017 on
Grooming Label, followed by her debut LP, Adoration, on Halcyon Veil in 2018. In 2021, she released
Summer in Sexilia on Xquisite Releases. Her latest album, CHOEUR, came out on October 4, 2024, via
the Milan-based label Haunter Records.
After being active in Montreal, New York and Napoli, she is currently based in Paris. She has
performed at various venues around the world such as Forest
